Tunnel 26: The Curse Beneath the Mountain
The teaser of ‘Tunnel 26: The Curse Beneath the Mountain’ has been released, offering the first glimpse of the ambitious Nepal-Bhutan-India film collaboration.
Starring Anup Bikram Shahi, Anna Sharma and Sangay Tsheltrim, the teaser introduces a dark and mysterious cinematic world driven by suspense, action and atmospheric visuals.
Written and directed by DD Kinley, the film is presented by Sangay Tsheltrim Films and Peak XV Production. The project brings together actors, producers and technicians from Nepal, Bhutan and India.
The film has also attracted attention for Nirvana Chaudhary’s involvement in film production, while Nepali star Pradeep Khadka is credited as creative producer.
Originally made in Dzongkha, ‘Tunnel 26’ is expected to reach audiences in Nepali and other regional languages. Its post-production is reportedly being carried out in Thailand, with a release planned around October 2026, although an exact date has yet to be announced.
