A song (video) from the movie ‘Mitajyu’ titled ‘Bhunbhun Mahuri’ has been released. The song features Saugat Malla, Dayahang Rai, and Rusha Neupane in a lively and colorful performance. Set in a traditional folk style, the track beautifully captures a love triangle between the three characters.
With lyrics expressing closeness despite distance, the song brings emotional depth along with energetic dance moves. Saugat Malla is also seen in a fresh new look, different from his previous roles.
“Bhunbhun Mahuri” is written, composed, and sung by Shrikrishna Bam Malla, with female vocals by Laxmi Malla. The choreography by Ningma D. Lepcha adds a unique touch, blending traditional dohori elements with modern presentation.
Shot in a vibrant rural setting, the song recreates the atmosphere of a typical dohori night, making it visually rich and culturally rooted.
Directed by Anil Budha Magar, Mitjyu features a strong ensemble cast including Teriya Magar, Pushkar Gurung, and others. The film marks the acting debut of Teriya Magar.
Produced under GM Movies Production, the film is set to release nationwide on May 8. The earlier song “Gairaghare Kaili” had already gained popularity, raising expectations for the film.
