Anmol KC and Princy Khatiwada in Batulo Jun, a Nepali romantic film directed by Bhuwan KC.
The official Batulo Jun trailer is out, introducing audiences to Anmol KC and debutante Princy Khatiwada’s upcoming romantic drama. Directed by Bhuwan KC, the film follows a love story shaped by economic differences and the pressures of a traditional society.
Batulo Jun takes its central romance into an earlier era of Nepali life. Its published synopsis follows two people from different economic backgrounds whose relationship faces social barriers. Their feelings for each other come up against expectations that leave little room for personal choice.
Anmol leads the film alongside Princy, making this a new on-screen pairing for audiences. The project marks Princy’s film debut, while Garima Panta returns to Nepali cinema after several years away from regular film appearances.
Bhuwan KC takes on both directing and acting roles. The film reunites him with Anmol in a director-actor collaboration around a decade after Dreams.
The cast also includes Nancy Khadka, Prakash Ghimire, Laxminath Timalsina and Laxmi Giri. Jiyaa KC and Bhabishya Khadka produce the film, with Bibek Thapa as co-producer.
Batulo Jun is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on Thursday, November 12, 2026 — Kartik 26, 2083.
