Popular Nepali social comedy-drama Behuli from Meghauli is now available to watch for free on YouTube following its theatrical release on October 3, 2024.
Starring real-life celebrity couple Swastima Khadka and Nischal Basnet, the film blends humor, romance and family drama while exploring the social pressure surrounding marriage in Nepal.
Set against the scenic backdrop of Meghauli, Chitwan, the story follows a father determined to find the “perfect groom” for his daughter, while she searches for genuine love amid family expectations and social pressure.
Directed by Sajan Kafle and Aakash Baral, Behuli from Meghauli also features Bijay Baral, Simran Khadka and Basundhara Bhusal in prominent roles.
The film’s soundtrack also gained significant attention, particularly the popular song “Udaayo Mann.”
