‘Maya Chhapakkai’ title song from ‘Chha Maya Chhapakkai 2’, starring Deepak Raj Giri, Keki Adhikari and Sanisha Bhattarai.
The first official song from ‘Chha Maya Chhapakkai 2’ is out, giving audiences a new look at the much-awaited Nepali film ahead of its Dashain theatrical release.
Titled ‘Maya Chhapakkai’, the song features vocals by Karan Pariyar, Abhi Sunar, Bishal Niraula and Rashmi Bishwakarma. Abhi Sunar has written and composed the track, while Bishal Niraula handled the music arrangement.
The song was initially scheduled to premiere at 5 pm but arrived around three and a half hours later because of technical issues. Once released, it began attracting reactions across social media, with some viewers playfully commenting, “Dhila aayo, kada aayo”—“It came late, but it came strong.”
Ranjan Rai handled the mixing and mastering at Alankar Studio. The instrumental team includes Samiran Jayaru on sanai, Ratna B.K. on flute, Bhuwan Gandharva on rhythm and Sanjeev Baraili on guitar.
Directed by Dipendra Lama, ‘Chha Maya Chhapakkai 2’ stars Deepak Raj Giri in the central role of Raja, alongside Keki Adhikari, Deepa Shree Niraula, Sanisha Bhattarai, Karma Shakya, Prakash Ghimire, Nirmal Sharma, Rama Thapaliya, Sharada Giri, Maxam Gaudel, Bishnu Sapkota and Rabindra Jha.
Deepak Raj Giri has written the story and screenplay, while Rohit Adhikari is the producer. Nirmal Sharma and Suraj Bam Thakuri serve as executive producers.
Presented by Aama Saraswati Movies, Rohit Adhikari Films and IME, the film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on Dashain’s Phulpati.
