Nikhil Upreti and Sajeena Shrestha Bring Romance to Acharya
Nepali action star Nikhil Upreti shows a softer, romantic side in “Lai Bari Lai,” the first song released from his upcoming film Acharya. The music video pairs Upreti with model Sajeena Shrestha, with their dance and onscreen chemistry taking center stage.
“Lai Bari Lai” is sung by Gauranga Shekhar Sharma and Jyotsna Jawda, while Yug Bhusal has written and composed the track.
Kiran Thapa handled the choreography, with the video presenting Upreti in a noticeably more romantic mood than the action-heavy image associated with Acharya.
Directed and written by Nikhil Upreti, Acharya also stars Purnika Sijapati, Raghu Babu, Raghu Karumanchi, Deep Raj Rana, Rohit Chaudhary and other artists. Purnika makes her acting debut with the film.
Produced under the Nikhil Upreti Production banner, the movie is scheduled to hit cinemas on September 25, 2026.
