Jitu Nepal and Priyana Acharya Turn Romantic in ‘Lagyau Paran’ from the Movie ‘Karki Saila’
‘Lagyau Paran’ first song from the upcoming Nepali film ‘Karki Saila’ has been released. Featuring lead actors Jitu Nepal and Priyana Acharya, the romantic number offers audiences a musical glimpse into their onscreen relationship.
The video places Jitu and Priyana at the centre of a light-hearted romantic presentation. Their expressions, playful moments and comfortable onscreen chemistry give the song its visual appeal.
Released as part of the film’s promotional campaign, ‘Lagyau Paran’ brings together the voices of Shreya Agasti and Benisha Paudel. The lyrics have been written by Bishnu Nepal Nepali, while Sanket Agasti has composed the music. Bishal Niraula handled the song’s arrangement.
The production team unveiled the video during a press event, marking the formal beginning of the film’s music-driven promotion.
Directed by Rajendra Basnet, Karki Saila is based on a story by Dambar Rai. The screenplay and dialogues have been jointly written by Shankar Dhital and Sabin Adhikari.
Alongside Jitu Nepal and Priyana Acharya, the film features Sushil Pokharel, Birendra Singh Kushwaha, Manshi Sharma, Manil Tamang, Dipson Limbu, Kamal Devkota, Roda Rai, Menuka Acharya and Ganesh Rajbhandari.
The film is produced by Bal Kumar Rai and Nirbhik Banjara, with Ananta Rai serving as executive producer. Dambar Rai is the director of photography, while the cinematography has been handled by Narayan Gurung.
Sandesh Shah has edited the film, assisted by co-editor Sandip Dangi. Rozal Thapa serves as chief assistant director, while Geet Bista and Sajana Thapa are assistant directors.
The film’s soundtrack features music by Dipson Limbu and Sanket Agasti, with vocals by Dipson Limbu, Shreya Agasti and Benisha Paudel.
Karki Saila is scheduled to arrive in cinemas nationwide on Asoj 2, 2083 (September 18, 2026).
