The official trailer of Nepali movie ‘MirMire’ has been released. From the first frame, Mirmire sets an emotional tone, telling a touching story of a father and daughter living with the deep absence of a mother. The trailer paints a painful picture of how incomplete life feels without her, a home without a wife, children without a mother, and a man trying to fill that void.
At the center of the story is a love triangle involving Dayahang Rai, Sirjana Ninglekhu, and Prakash Saput. Dayahang plays a father struggling to give his daughter the warmth of motherhood after his wife leaves.
Young actress Shaisa Gauchan shines as the daughter, expressing loss, confusion, and emotional hunger with striking depth. The trailer also hints at a powerful turning point when the child learns that Numa is not her real mother, setting off an emotional journey to uncover the truth.
Written and directed by Yam Sherpa, Mirmire is presented by Yarsa Films and is set for release on Magh 1. The film features a strong cast including Maotse Gurung, Chulthim Gurung, Bholaraj Sapkota, Bimal Yadav, Divisha Pant, Chirag Shrestha, and Namanraj Gajurel.
The film is produced by Nimu Sherpa, Chhongba Lama Sherpa, and Ang Tshering Sherpa, with Govinda Bohra and Sudip Kunwar as co-producers. Rohit Kattel, owner of RR Films, serves as executive producer, with RR Films handling nationwide distribution.
