Singer Sushant KC has stepped into acting. His first short film, Estai Raicha, is now released on YouTube, revealing a tender love story wrapped in soft emotions and soulful moments.
Directed by Kalani Gacon, an Australian filmmaker, the 12-minute film follows a young Newar man who refuses to give up on a love the universe keeps trying to erase. Sushant’s natural performance brings a quiet charm, marking a promising start to his acting journey.
Thinley Lhamo stars opposite him, adding depth and warmth to the story. Lhamo, known for ‘Naka’ and the internationally acclaimed ‘Shambala’ a film selected for the Berlin Film Festival. Produced by Pratik Rai and shot by cinematographer Chintan Rajbhandari.
