The official teaser of the upcoming Nepali film ‘Parvati’ has been released, offering an emotional glimpse into the bond between a sister and her younger brother.
The one-minute-and-57-second teaser focuses on Neeta Dhungana as Parvati and Ashok Darji as her brother Kiran. Parvati is presented as a woman with autism, while Kiran appears as her closest companion and protector.
Rather than revealing major plot details, the teaser relies on emotional visuals and simple moments between the two characters. Their relationship appears to be the heart of the film, while the limited reveal also creates curiosity about the struggles they may face.
‘Parvati’ marks Neeta Dhungana’s directorial debut. She has also written the story and plays the title role. The film also features Deepa Shree Niraula, Siru Bista, Radhika Kandel, Raj Pangeni Sharma, Rajendra Nepali and Asha Poudel.
