The official trailer of the Nepali film Paralko Aago is out, and it delivers a deeply emotional story about marriage, love, and human relationships.
Directed by Laxman Sunar, the film follows two couples living very different lives. One is wealthy but constantly fighting, while the other is poor yet happy and peaceful. The contrast sets the tone for a story that feels real and relatable.
The trailer features Prakash Saput and Suhana Thapa as a troubled couple, while Saugat Malla and Srijana Adhikari play a simple but content pair. Their performances hint at a film driven by strong emotions and meaningful storytelling.
At its core, Paralko Aago compares relationships to dry straw fire “quick to ignite and quick to fade”, reminding viewers that love, respect, and understanding are what truly keep a marriage alive. It also carries a strong message about respecting women and building harmony at home.
The film is based on a classic story from Guru Prasad Mainali’s collection Naso, which was previously adapted into a film over four decades ago.
Paralko Aago is set to release on April 24 (Baishakh 11).
