The confrontation between Biraj and Samir is the trailer’s main draw. Both appear in forceful action roles, but the preview leaves their characters’ relationship and the reason for their clash unexplained.
Anoop Bikram Shahi appears as an antagonist, adding another source of conflict. Alongside the action, glimpses of family relationships suggest that the struggle involves personal stakes.
The trailer follows the release of songs including “Juneli,” “Lali Gurans” and “Reshami Rumal.” While the songs introduced romance and dance, this latest preview turns the focus towards the film’s confrontations and revenge story.
The cast includes Biraj Bhatt, Samir Bhatt, Anoop Bikram Shahi, Sunil Pokharel, Prakash Shah, Kalu Rana, Khushi Karki and Pushkar Bhatt. Krishu Shahi (Kafiya) and Barsha Itani make their film debuts.
Santosh Sarkar writes the story and screenplay, with cinematography by Mahesh Paudel and editing by Bande Prasad. Stunt Silva and Shankar Maharjan direct the action.
‘12 Gaun 2’ arrives in cinemas across Nepal on October 16 during Dashain.
