The official trailer of ‘Jhinge Dau 2’ has been released, offering a glimpse into a family story filled with conflict, emotions and relationships.
The trailer highlights tensions between brothers and between sisters-in-law, while also focusing on a mother’s love, the bond between parents and children, and the search for a mother.
Directed by Gyanendra Deuja, the film is scheduled to release on Asoj 2. It has received a PG certificate from the Central Film Censor Board in Kathmandu, meaning viewers below the age of 16 will need to watch the film with a guardian.
The film stars Keki, Aanchal, Mahesh Tripathi, Kushal Bista, Aryan Sigdel, Saroj Khanal, Basundhara Bhusal, Chaityadevi Singh and several other actors.
Produced under the banners of Kapangadhi Cinema Pvt. Ltd. and Film Crew Nepal Pvt. Ltd., the film is backed by Sulav Pratik Deuja and Samiksha Deuja.
The film had already drawn attention with its teaser, while the Teej battle song ‘Jethani Versus Deurani’ has gained popularity on YouTube and TikTok.
With the first ‘Jhinge Dau’ also receiving strong views on YouTube, the newly released trailer gives audiences another look at the family conflicts and emotional relationships at the centre of the sequel.
