Actress Benisha Hamal has stepped into a new role with the release of her short film Missing Bride. The 13-minute mystery drama marks her first full experience as a writer and director.
Missing Bride unfolds inside a quiet apartment, where a man named Aashrit, an aspiring writer in his early forties, is visited by a young woman linked to the previous tenant. She has run away from her own wedding, hoping to escape a deep emotional conflict. Their intense and unexpected meeting builds the core of the story.
The film features Barsha Raut, Vivek Singh Thakuri, Laxman Prasad Adhikari and Komal Sherchan in key roles. The cast brings a sharp mix of mystery and emotion, giving the short film a strong dramatic pull.
Sharing the film through her social media pages, Benisha said she was proud to finally present a project she worked on three years ago. She expressed how much she learned from handling every part of the process and thanked the entire team for standing by her throughout the journey.
