Yash is back in action, and the official trailer of Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups reveals two very different sides of the superstar.
Released on August 8, the trailer introduces Yash as Raya and Ticket inside director Geetu Mohandas’ dark, violent and visually extravagant gangster world. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026.
Raya appears rugged, powerful and intimidating, while Ticket brings a younger and far more unpredictable energy. Earlier reports have identified Ticket as Raya’s son, making the apparent father-son conflict one of the most intriguing elements of the story.
The trailer combines gunfights, stylised violence, lavish locations and underworld power struggles while also highlighting the film’s major female ensemble.
Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth feature alongside Yash in the Geetu Mohandas directorial.
Hollywood action director JJ Perry has also worked on the film, adding international stunt expertise to its large-scale action sequences.
Toxic marks Yash’s long-awaited theatrical return following KGF: Chapter 2 and is produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.
