‘Juni Jala’ a song from Maotse Gurung’s film ‘Pension Patta’ has been released. The song brings together romance, cultural celebration and the colorful rural setting of the film.
The video features Dayahang Rai, Buddhi Tamang, Wilson Bikram Rai, Gaumaya Gurung and Maotse Gurung. Traditional Gurung costumes, village landscapes and community celebrations give the visuals a distinctive cultural identity.
Written by Harka Saud and composed by Manoj Thapa Magar, ‘Juni Jala’ features vocals by Sarun Gurung, Raj Bahadur Gurung, Usha Gurung and Priya Gurung. Kamal Bahadur Gurung has choreographed the video.
The arrangement also incorporates guitar by Sanjeev Baraili, madal by Poshan Magar, flute by Ratna Bishwakarma and sarangi by Manish Gandharva. The track was mixed by Genrix.
Through its romantic lyrics and culturally rooted visuals, the song offers glimpses of the film’s relationships, family bonds and rural world. Director Maotse Gurung has described ‘Pension Patta’ as a story driven by hope, struggle and human emotions.
Produced under the banner of Maotse Gurung Films, ‘Pension Patta’ is scheduled to release on Bhadra 26 during the Haritalika Teej period.
