Gaumaya Gurung & Dayahag Rai | Pension Patta Trailer
The trailer for Pension Patta, starring Dayahang Rai and directed by Maotse Gurung, has been released, offering a glimpse into an emotional family story shaped by the Lahure tradition, pension rights and a long-buried past.
The story takes an intriguing turn when Dayahang Rai’s character discovers that his late father’s pension documents carry the name of his father’s first wife instead of his own mother.
That discovery sends him searching for the woman the family has seemingly lost touch with—and gradually opens questions about forgotten relationships, identity and unresolved family history.
Alongside Dayahang Rai, the film features Gaumaya Gurung, Wilson Bikram Rai, Buddhi Tamang, Pashupati Rai and an ensemble cast.
Written and directed by Maotse Gurung, Pension Patta is scheduled to release in cinemas on September 11, 2026.
