The iconic Nepali classic “Sindhuli Gadhi Ghumera Herdā Suntali Mai” has been revived after 46 years. Raju Thapa, son of the late Krishna Bikram Thapa, has released a fresh remake, beautifully shot in Sindhuli with a modern arrangement.

The song “Sindhuli Gadhi Ghumera Herda” was recorded around 1979 (2036 BS) when folk singer Krishna Bikram Thapa won a vocal test by Radio Nepal by singing it. He originally wrote the song, and its recording made him famous and popularized the historical site of Sindhuli Gadhi.
