Actress Priyanka Karki with Jitu Nepal | I am Jit Bahadur
The official trailer of ‘I Am Jit Bahadur,’ a highly anticipated Nepali film produced by renowned actor Jitu Nepal, has been released ahead of its nationwide theatrical release on June 19 (Asar 5). The trailer was unveiled through OSR Digital and launched during a special event held in Kathmandu.
The trailer presents the inspiring and emotional story of a young man from a rural village who arrives in the city with big dreams of becoming an actor. As he pursues his ambition, he faces numerous obstacles, hardships, disappointments, and personal sacrifices. The film appears to focus on the realities of chasing dreams in a competitive environment while staying true to one’s identity and determination.
One of the biggest highlights of the trailer is Jitu Nepal’s transformation into a more serious and emotionally driven character. Best known for his comedy roles and television appearances, Jitu showcases a different side of his acting abilities in this film. His portrayal of a struggling dreamer is expected to resonate with audiences who have experienced similar challenges in their own lives.
The film is written and directed by Indian Bengali filmmaker Subhendu Ghosh. Actress Barsha Raut stars opposite Jitu Nepal, while the supporting cast includes Priyanka Karki, Sandeep Chhetri, Deshbhakta Khanal, Pawan Khatiwada “Baba,” Niraj Nepal, and Ansu Maharjan.
Produced under the banner of Karma Bhumi Creation, the film’s executive producers are Nishchal Kunwar and Niraj Nepal. Rajan Sinkhada and Dipendra Adhikari serve as co-producers. The cinematography has been handled by Indian cinematographer Aravind, while the post-production work was completed in India.
For Jitu Nepal, whose entertainment career spans more than three decades, ‘I Am Jit Bahadur‘ is being viewed as one of his most personal and ambitious projects. The film not only highlights the journey of an aspiring actor but also reflects the dreams and struggles of countless young people who leave their hometowns in search of opportunities and recognition.
