Malika Mahat and Paul Shah | Aa Bata Aama 2
The official teaser of the upcoming Nepali film ‘Aa Bata Aama 2’ has been released, offering an emotional glimpse into a story of love, family and a mother waiting for her son during Dashain.
The 3-minute-38-second teaser mainly features Paul Shah, Malika Mahat and Bipana Thapa. Paul plays Krishna, who is seen carrying Malika’s character while talking about staying by her side for life.
During the moment, Krishna receives a phone call from his mother but does not answer it. When he later returns home, he finds his mother, played by Bipana Thapa, lying asleep. Krishna’s sudden fear and concern give the teaser its strongest emotional turn.
Set against a Dashain backdrop, the teaser blends romance with the emotional bond between a mother and son. The film has been presented around the theme of “Dashain jamara and a mother’s wait.”
Presented by Arya Entertainment, ‘Aa Bata Aama 2’ stars Paul Shah, Malika Mahat, Rishta Gurung, Nikita Acharya, Bipana Thapa, Akash Shrestha, Sabin Shrestha, Pradeep Rawat, Saigrace Pokharel, Gajit Bista, Naren Khadka and Dilip Akheda, among others.
The film is written and directed by Chandra Pant, with Roshan Bhatt also credited as a writer. Bhatt has written the dialogues, while Karan Singh serves as executive producer.
The technical team includes cinematographer Navaraj Upreti, music composer Babul Giri, choreographer Gambhir Bista, and editors Sahil Khan and Milan Shrestha. Sahil Khan has also prepared the teaser and trailer.
OSR Digital is the digital partner, while RR Films is handling nationwide distribution in Nepal.
‘Aa Bata Aama 2’ is scheduled to release in cinemas across Nepal on Asoj 30, coinciding with the Dashain season.
