
The title song of upcoming Nepali film ‘Kakakiki’ has been released, offering a colorful glimpse into the film’s festive rural setting ahead of its Bhadra 19 theatrical release.
Sung by Arjun Sapkota and Melina Rai, the song features music and hookline by Arjun Sapkota, with lyrics written by Santosh Sapkota. Shot in Jarsing Pauwa, the video captures a lively village celebration filled with music, dance and a strong sense of community.
The video features Gauri Malla, Tripti Nadkar, Rekha Thapa, Mahesh Tripathi, Prakash Ghimire and Khadga Bahadur Pun Magar, among other cast members. Singer Arjun Sapkota also appears in the dance sequences alongside Pabitra Shaki (Miss Pavi), Sajina Khanal and Nischal Khadka.
The song has been choreographed by Migma D. Lepcha.
According to director Bikki Agarwal, the title track reflects the film’s rural backdrop and celebratory mood. The makers expect the song to further build interest in the film ahead of its release.
‘Kakakiki’ also stars Diya Maskey, Shishir Wangdel, Subash Gajurel, Rear Rai, Pawan Khatiwada, Maotse Gurung, Manoj Gajurel, Mukunda Mainali, Ram Babu Regmi, CD Bijaya Adhikari, Saroj Bhandari, Srijana Shrestha, Bishwas Timalsina, Elisa Bhog, Suvarna Thapa and Kamal Devkota.
The film is produced by Shraddha Prasai and Sumitra Thapa, while Seven Seas International Films is handling its worldwide release.
