The official trailer of Nepali film ‘Lajjawati’ has been released, offering a glimpse into a love story that gradually turns into mistrust, betrayal and emotional struggle.
The trailer features Mukun Bhusal and Januka Bishwakarma as a couple in love. Their joyful relationship begins to change as family circumstances, social pressure and growing doubts create conflict between them.
Shree Krishna Niraula and Menuka Majhi also make notable appearances. The film appears to combine romance with family relationships, rural life and emotional confrontation.
Written and directed by Raj Bahadur Sane, the film features Mukun Bhusal, Januka Bishwakarma, Shree Krishna Niraula, Menuka Majhi, Keshav Rijal, Dhiren Shakya, Priya Rijal, Hiuँwala Gautam, Bishal Pahari, CP Poudel, RR Khadka, Binod Shrestha, Deepak Thapa and Kajal Bhujel.
Presented by Aaha Films Pvt. Ltd., ‘Lajjawati’ is produced by Kamal Prasad Sharma and Sandeep Kumar Rokaya, with Dinesh Budhathoki as executive producer.
The film is scheduled to release in cinemas across Nepal on Shrawan 29, corresponding to August 14.
